Nairobi National Park
The Daily Nairobi National Park tour starts in the morning or afternoon with collection from your Nairobi area hotel or Nairobi airport. The morning Nairobi national park tour starts at 7:00am and ends at appr. 1:00pm while the afternoon tour starts at 1:00pm and ends at appr. 6:00pm. Its scattered acacia bush is host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black Rhino, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Bushbuck, Hippopotamus and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. The Giraffe Centre
Visit the Giraffe Centre located in Langata, where the endangered Rothschild giraffe are being raised. You will have the opportunity to hand feed these gentle creatures, as well as get fantastic close up shots. Feeding the giraffes is facilitated by a well built, raised platform from where visitors can feed these tall animals with ease.
Bomas of Kenya Folk Dancers
Bomas is a homestead and is located just 10 kilometers from the city centre with numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya's cocktail of cultures depicting in a traditional village life style. You will be treated to a rich traditional music and dance show at this cultural centre. The greatest excitement is the display of traditional dances, music, and songs being performed in a splendid area. Traditional dishes may be served as extras.
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
We pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi after breakfast and drive to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where later in the day we will visit the Giraffe Centre. The first stop is the David Sheldrick is strictly open for only 1 hour; that is between 11 am to 12 noon. In this orphanage, you have a chance to interact with the rescued baby and teenage elephants, you will learn each unique story of how they got in the orphanage. You later dive to the Giraffe Centre where you will learn about plans to rescue these tall animals. You will have fun taking selfies with these tall Giraffes. We later drive you back to your hotel back in the evening.
